Beretta

Those of you who have been lucky enough to have enjoyed a meal at Team Alstare's hospitality unit know that the staff exercise particular care in choosing the best products to please the taste buds of our guests. Given that our “chefs” are Italian, it is normal that they set their hearts on some of the best products from their home country. As far as cooked pork meats are concerned, Italian household name Beretta has found favour with Team Alstare Suzuki Corona Extra. The superior quality of its products is the result of the work of six generations of a family dedicated to quality, tradition and innovation in the food industry.
Actually, Napoleon Bonaparte was still around when the Beretta family started dealing in pork and pork derivatives. In 1812 the Salumificio F.lli Beretta company was set up in Barzanò, in the heart of the business-minded and hard-working area of Brianza, just north of Milan. First set up as a small pork-processing workshop, it slowly grew into an industrial concern in the 1920's. But since things were going so well, the Beretta family kept investing in the company to develop it further. This led to a major shift in direction in the 1970's when the company became a leader in the field of processed pork. Today, the F.lli Beretta Group is one of Italy's most important companies in the food industry and provides Team Alstare Suzuki's hospitality unit with a variety of high quality products including mortadellas and salaminis.
