BMC

BMC Filters was founded in 1973 but until 1991, the Italy-based company was essentially a motorcycle accessories distributor. In 1991 BMC decided to enter the car market. Following an enquiry from the Ferrari F1 team in 1995, they entered the race car market and then, later on, expanded into road applications. Since 1996, BMC air filters have equipped some of the most important teams in F1 and the American Le Mans Series, thus demonstrating the high quality level of the product.

But BMC filters are also extremely active in the world of Superbikes where the company has had many successes with Team Alstare Suzuki. Today, BMC air filters are designed and produced to allow a higher airflow than original paper filters. By minimising the loss of airflow pressure passing through the air filter, the full power of the engine can be exploited, ensuring Team Alstare's bikes play a major part in the World Superbike Championship.
