But Stuart wasn’t at Donington just because he is a celebrity and liked the idea of a day out at a World Superbike event, but because he is a biker. Recently he took part in a round of the UK GSX-R600 Cup at Anglesey circuit, North Wales. Despite never having ridden at the circuit before, Stuart acquitted himself well by qualifying 14th and the finishing race in 14th and race two in eighth! Afterwards he said "I've enjoyed it immensely. I was impressed by the format of the championship as a spectator, but having the opportunity to get involved myself has been tremendous. In fact, I'm now actually considering in having a go at a full season of racing in the GSX-R Trophy next year."
And of his Donington experience? “It’s been great here at a World Superbike event, seeing all the stars close up and finding that they are all friendly and the atmosphere is great. Thanks to Alstare, I’ve experienced the atmosphere from the inside and now that I have, I’d like to come back again sometime.”
