Mectex was born with the exact wish of establishing the company, as early as the Sixties, in the European Common Market (Mec) as the creators of the best ideas and of a textile (Tex) created to have no frontier limitations because of its superior quality.

Mectex is now leader in the production of synthetic and natural fabrics, both normal and stretch. Research and tests on fibres and materials have allowed the company to widen its horizons and to search, beyond the boundaries of Como lake, new outlets in the markets all over the world.
