Front row for Xavi
Team Alstare Suzuki rider Xavi Simeon posted the fourth quickest time in qualifying and will start tomorrow’s sixth round of this year’s Superstock 1000 FIM Cup on the front row of the grid.
Aussie Brendan Roberts (Ducati) took pole position this afternoon, with Michele Pirro (Yamaha) second and Maxime Berger (Honda) third.

I am happy to be on the front row and happy because the bike is working well and feels good to ride. I didn’t have any big problems today, just a small problem with the front tyre feel. But apart from that, nothing of note. I am looking forward to the race tomorrow and I think I can make the podium for sure. I hope to get a good start, fight at the front of the pack and be in a good position at the end. The important thing for me is to make sure I score a good number of points and maintain my championship lead.
